To update your billing card, simply go into your account management section of the Academy and input your new card details. Once you’ve saved them, they’ll be updated on your account and your next payment will be processed with your new card.
Where can I access receipts for my payments?
You’ll find all of your receipts within the Membership section of the Academy, which you can download or print. You’ll also receive receipts directly to the email address we have on file.
Can I upgrade to an annual membership from a monthly and still receive the 20% discount?
Of course! Not only that, but we’ll deduct any outstanding membership fees that you’ve paid from your active billing month from the cost, too. All you need to do is visit the Membership section within the Academy and click on “Upgrade or change your membership”.
How do I redeem my membership perks to get discounts on software and services?
Simply navigate to the Perks page, find the offer that you’d like to take advantage of, and then click on “See Details” from the drop-down. You’ll now be able to see full instructions on redeeming your perk. If you ever have problems, simply email us and we’ll help you out.
If there’s a price increase in membership, will I be charged extra?
No. The price you paid will be locked in for you until the point that you cancel – we look after our long-standing members!
Do you offer any discounts on subscriptions?
Yes. We offer 20% off the monthly subscription fee if you purchase an annual membership.
Are there any other fees other than the monthly/annual prices stated on the website?
No. Everything is included within your monthly (or yearly) membership fee. No hidden costs or annoying up-sells.
Can I get a discount code or coupon for Traffic Think Tank?
No, we don’t offer any discount codes outside of the 20% off for annual memberships.
How do I cancel my Traffic Think Tank membership?
As much as we hate to see you leave, we’ve made it as simple as possible for you to cancel, should you choose to. Simply go to the Membership section of the Academy and click on “Cancel Membership”. Once you’ve done this, you’ll have full access up until your next renewal date.
What’s more, if you change your mind in the future, you can log back in with your existing details and upgrade to a paid membership once again.

Can I sell my services to other Traffic Think Tank members?
We try to keep the community as friendly as possible and avoid any “hard selling” of goods or services within the community. That said, we have a dedicated channel within the community that is reserved for members being able to show what they have to offer and work with other members. This is completely optional to join but has resulted in some great networking opportunities for our members.
Are there discussions on topics other than SEO inside the Slack community?
Yes. We currently have dedicated channels for discussion around analytics, affiliate marketing, paid acquisition, running an agency, conversion optimization, design and development, tools/software, and even a whole channel dedicated to listing job openings (perfect if you’re either looking to hire or looking to be hired), plus many more.
Can I direct message (DM) the founders (or anyone else inside Slack)?
Absolutely. You can DM Matt, Ian, or Nick privately or all at once, as well as any and all other members of the community.
Academy Content FAQs
How do I access all of the live webinars and video content?
For any of the live webinars, we share details on how to join within the Upcoming Content section of the Academy, plus we send a message out in the Slack community (you can join via your laptop or via phone, whichever is easiest for you). All of the live webinars are recorded and added to the Academy afterward.
Similarly, you’ll be able to access all of the members-only education content, templates, and process documents within the Academy.
Is there content on topics other than SEO inside the Academy?
Yes. We have a broad spectrum of content included within the Academy, including things like building out analytics dashboards, running your own PR campaigns, executing on conversion rate optimization experiments, content promotion, agency growth and much more.
How frequently is new content added?
New content is added on a near-weekly basis, sometimes with multiple new videos or webinars being released in a single week. Alongside that, there are conversations happening within the Slack community every day, usually multiple threads per hour, so you won’t be short of things to learn about.
General Membership FAQs
What’s the minimum number of months I can sign up for? Can I pay month-to-month?
There’s no minimum monthly commitment.
Once you’ve signed up, you can cancel at any time. If you want to just pay for a single month to see if it’s the right fit for you, go ahead! If it doesn’t work out for you then you can cancel your subscription anytime and you won’t be billed again, but you will still have access for the full month you paid for. You can always end your subscription at the end of the month (but you probably won’t want to).
What do I actually get access to once I’ve signed up?
As soon as you’ve signed up you’ll get instant access to the Traffic Think Tank Academy, plus our community inside Slack. You’ll get an email shortly after signing up that will give you your login details plus a Slack invite.
Once you’re inside Slack, you’ll be able to engage with members, check out some of the current conversations and even be able to see all of the conversations since day 1 of Traffic Think Tank.
The Academy access is where you’ll find all of the educational content, live webinars, process documents, and templates that we produce for members. We add new content to the Academy on a weekly basis, as well as a live video Q&A session with the founders (Matt, Nick, and Ian) every month. Also, you’ll be able to manage all of your billing and membership directly within the account management section of the Academy.
If I’m new to SEO, is this going to be a good fit for me?
Absolutely. We have a lot of content aimed at more advanced marketers, but we also have tons of content (and lots of regular discussions) that is perfect for anyone new to SEO and marketing as a whole. We also have hundreds of hours of educational content that you can pour through to get up to speed on the basics.
Are there any other perks to being a member outside of access to the Slack community and the Academy content?
We have a number of perks reserved for Traffic Think Tank members, and this list is growing. Once you’ve signed up, you can get your free custom Traffic Think Tank t-shirt shipped (just like this lot did!). We also offer exclusive discounts on tools and services related that you can make good use of from within the Perks page of the Academy.

Do you have an affiliate program?
