Whale, hello there! I'm an experienced content strategist, SEO, writer, and editor. I'm also a perfectionist (the good kind!), recovering procrastinator, and co-dependent dog owner. But I digress.In early 2020, I relocated from the mountains of Asheville to sunny San Diego. I work as SEO Manager at Workshop Digital, headquartered in Richmond. As the main SEO point of contact for my accounts, I help clients meet their goals, set their strategy, and get results. I strive to be an excellent consultant and extension of their team. My previous positions include SEO Account Manager at Seer Interactive and SEO & Content Strategist at JB Media. In the SEO world, I love connecting with other folks to nerd out, compare methods, and help each other out when weird stuff happens.Here's a bit more about me: I spent 5 years in magazine publishing, most recently as chief editor of an arts and culture monthly. In 2016 I hopped over to digital marketing and content development. It wasn't long before I shifted my focus to SEO. I spend my days helping folks create sites with purpose that make sense for users. I am always excited to help clients understand their web presence (and make it better!).And as for the Oxford comma, you can pry it from my cold, dead, and something-something-third-thing-in-a-series hands.
